Community Network Maintenance Services

The City of Kamloops, British Columbia, requires a qualified Canadian organization to deliver comprehensive community network maintenance services. The agency is seeking a partner to manage general services, including coordination with staff, stakeholders, and third parties, as well as incident response, fault isolation, and restoration. The selected provider must also handle testing, certification, documentation, and regular reporting and service management meetings. The scope of work covers emergency repair of damaged fibre-optic cable, fusion splicing, approved temporary mechanical splicing, and the replacement of damaged components. The agency requires testing, submission of test results, and permanent restoration following any temporary repairs. Additionally, the project includes fibre-optic installation, which encompasses outside plant underground or aerial construction, inside plant building entry, riser and termination work, fibre termination, testing, certification, network extensions, and ring creation. Bidders must be Canadian organizations, and the performance of all work must take place onsite in Kamloops. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept digital submissions via email or through their online portal.
