Data Center Operations Service

The Maryland State Board of Elections in Annapolis is seeking a vendor to provide data center hosting services, including hardware, for several critical election systems. The agency needs these services to support systems that register voters, process and deliver absentee ballots, accept candidate filings, and provide election information and results to the public. Additionally, the project requires network administration, data center migration and relocation services, and a managed services provider to oversee the data centers. The scope of work also includes providing assertive community treatment expansion services to the government authority. All performance of the work must occur offsite. The agency requires that participating bidders be onshore organizations based exclusively in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders to determine the cost of the project. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 4, 2026, to discuss the requirements. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than July 13, 2026.
