Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems and Accessories

A government authority located in Texas is seeking vendors to provide uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and accessories. The agency needs these systems to keep signalized intersections operating during utility power outages. The target intersections utilize LED lenses with typical loads of 700 watts or less. The requested UPS systems must be capable of operating a 700-watt intersection load for four hours of full runtime at an ambient temperature of 25˚C when utility power is disabled. The system must automatically switch the intersection to flash mode, representing a 350-watt load, for an additional two hours once the battery charge depletes to approximately 40 percent. This transition must occur via relay contact connection points located on the front panel of the unit. Additionally, all components of the UPS system must be rated to operate under temperature extremes ranging from -34˚C to +74˚C. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite.
