Radio Telemetry Services

The City of Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a vendor to provide radio telemetry services for its local SCADA systems. The agency requires maintenance and support for critical infrastructure components, including siren electronics, antenna systems, radios, lightning protection, power surge protection, power supplies, power converters, relays, fuses, 12V 18 AH batteries, and siren batteries. The selected provider must perform a reflected power reading using a wattmeter during all preventive maintenance visits, ensuring the reading is taken only after keying the radio for at least two seconds. The agency also requires the documentation of the received signal level using the radio's internal diagnostics. The contract period will span three years, with work performed either onsite or offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. To qualify for evaluation, bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has scheduled a mandatory pre-proposal meeting for May 26, 2026.
