Slot-Die Coating System

The government authority located in Troy, Alabama requires a slot-die coating system to prepare controlled solution-processed thin films. This system will support teaching and research in electronic materials, flexible electronics, sensors, photodetectors, energy-harvesting devices, batteries, and photovoltaic devices. The agency needs to coat thin films on rigid and flexible substrates, including glass, to study the effects of coating speed, flow rate, coating width, substrate temperature, drying, film thickness, and process repeatability.
