Acuity Lighting Control System Restoration

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to restore the Acuity lighting control system at a government hospital facility located in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The agency needs to resolve system faults, offline devices, and cabling deficiencies to return the entire lighting control network to full functionality. This project addresses the critical need for reliable, fully integrated lighting and plug load controls throughout the hospital. The scope of work requires the contractor to update all Acuity lighting control software and standalone devices. The selected vendor must verify that all Acuity devices are online, diagnose and correct existing system faults, and identify and repair low-voltage cabling deficiencies. Additionally, the work includes correcting faulty power packs controlling plug and lighting loads, repairing connected lighting fixtures that are currently non-functioning, and conducting one on-site software and programming training session for designated hospital personnel. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. Although the agency specifies that the performance of the work will be offsite, the vendor must attend a mandatory meeting on-site on June 3, 2026, and conduct the required training session at the hospital. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost for this restoration project.
