Child Care Analysis Service

The Minnesota government authority is seeking a vendor to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the estimated cost of providing child care in the state. The agency needs to understand how these costs vary by geographic location, type of care, age of child, and quality of care. The final deliverable must be a detailed report outlining the results of this analysis. The project covers cost estimations tied to providing child care services to economically disadvantaged families and expenditures targeted at closing achievement gaps. The analysis must also address the costs of serving racially and ethnically diverse children, meeting cultural and linguistic needs, and supporting Tribally-licensed or Tribally-operated child care programs. Additionally, the agency requires estimations of direct and indirect costs necessary for providers to implement health and safety standards, meet staffing requirements, and deliver quality care. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to apply for this opportunity. The selected vendor must perform all work onsite in Minnesota. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project, and bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than May 29, 2026.
