Professional Land Surveying Services

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey requires professional land surveying services to support its facilities. The central survey group will oversee these utility surveys under the supervision of licensed land surveyors in accordance with state standards of practice. The selected contractor must perform underground utility designating services using the latest equipment and technology, including electro-magnetic conductive, acoustic, or magnetic induction methods for conductive utilities, and Ground Penetrating Radar for nonconductive utilities. The agency requires all underground utility designating services to align with "1-Call Mark-Out" (811) standards at designated authority facilities. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit proposals for this opportunity. The designated work must be performed offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Interested parties must attend a pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 9, 2026. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the submitted bids and qualifications to perform the requested surveying and utility designation services.
