Ground Response Strong-Motion Data Interpretation Service

The California Geological Survey, located in Sacramento, California, is seeking a vendor to analyze strong-motion data recorded from selected ground response stations or geotechnical arrays. The agency is attempting to solve the problem of limited understanding regarding strong ground shaking during earthquakes. The scope of work requires the proposed study to address at least one of three specific objectives. The first objective focuses on increasing the utilization of strong-motion data in pre-earthquake and post-earthquake response. The second objective aims to improve seismic hazard analysis, seismic design provisions, and seismic design practices.
