Nutrition and Transit Services

The Lower Savannah Council of Governments in Aiken, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to deliver comprehensive nutrition and transit services for qualified individuals. The agency requires a partner to manage both a group meal program in congregate settings and a home-delivered meal program at client residences. These meal services must encompass hot, frozen, and emergency meals, alongside evidence-based health promotions that provide education and activities to support healthy lifestyles. The transit component of the project requires the provider to transport qualified individuals to and from congregate dining meal sites and social group events. The agency also requires essential transportation, which moves multiple riders from a single origin to a single drop-off point, as well as medical transportation to health facilities and resources. All performance of the work will occur offsite, and only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate. The agency is looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget for these services. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 1, 2026.
