The Marin County government authority in California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive onsite janitorial services. The agency requires cleaning across a wide range of facilities, including entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, offices, corridors, meeting rooms, common areas, stairways, elevators, break rooms, council chambers, holding cells, basements, and storage or mechanical rooms. The selected contractor must empty and clean all waste receptacles, using and daily replacing liners in all washrooms and break areas, while utilizing separate liners for recyclables. The scope of work demands specific equipment standards, such as loop-end wet floor mops changed at the end of each shift and untreated, regularly laundered microfiber dry mops. All cleaning cloths must be clearly color-coded and machine-laundered and dried after a single shift of use. The service provider must clean all furniture and equipment, including televisions, telephones, credenzas, bookcases, desks, file cabinets, tables, glass, and desk lamps, ensuring all moved items are returned to their correct locations. The agency is issuing a one-year contract for these services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place on June 16, 2026.
