The government authority located in Fairfax, Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive custodial services for its facilities. The agency needs to address dirt, smudges, smears, graffiti, fingerprints, spills, splashes, and other surface blemishes throughout the premises. The selected contractor will maintain the cleanliness of the property by vacuuming carpeted areas, spot cleaning carpets, sweeping and wet mopping tile floors, and removing gum and tar. The scope of work requires cleaning and disinfecting all drinking fountains, emptying trash receptacles, and collecting and removing all miscellaneous rubbish. The service provider must reline trash and recycling containers with clean plastic bags and deposit recycled materials into the designated receptacle on the loading dock. Additionally, the work covers cleaning elevator cabs, vacuuming elevator carpets, and dusting surfaces with care to avoid damaging painted or wooden areas. The agency also requires the cleaning of ventilation louvers, grills, and panels using appropriate damp wiping, dusting, washing, or vacuuming techniques. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and all work must be performed onsite at the Fairfax location. The authority is establishing a contract period of two years and is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget for these services. An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 3, 2026, to discuss the requirements. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 8, 2026.
