Janitorial Services

The Fresno County housing authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services and supplies for six of its agency buildings in Fresno, California. The agency needs to maintain approximately 21,000 interior square feet of space to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff and visitors. Daily operations require staffing coverage from Monday through Sunday for both day and evening shifts, though weekend and holiday services remain limited. The scope of work covers a wide range of cleaning tasks to maintain the interior facilities. The selected vendor must perform carpet care, surface brightening, litter collection, and the cleaning and disinfecting of drinking fountains and fixtures. Additional duties include cleaning floor drains, refilling drain traps, cleaning elevator tracks, cleaning entrance mats, damp mopping hard surface floors, and de-scaling toilets and urinals. The agency also requires dusting of building surfaces, dusting and damp wiping of furniture, emptying trash receptacles, machine scrubbing floors, high dusting, reconditioning finished floors, and spot cleaning building surfaces. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The selected vendor must perform all work onsite at the designated Fresno facilities. The agency is establishing a contract period that will run for three years. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally either via email or through the online portal. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services. An important key date is the in-person pre-proposal conference, which the agency will host on May 21, 2026.
