Data Exchange Framework and Social Health Information Exchange Solution

The agency is seeking a vendor to deliver a secure, scalable, and standards-based Data Exchange Framework and social health information exchange solution. This project addresses the need for compliance with Data Exchange Framework mandates, which require query-based exchange, electronic referrals and orders, and admission, discharge, and transfer notifications. The selected vendor will provide software, configuration, integration, testing, training, support, and ongoing maintenance services to support these capabilities and protect sensitive data. The scope of work covers a system that supports real-time access to patient information, care coordination across providers, and automatic notifications of patient care events. The solution must handle clinical, demographic, and social determinants of health data elements while remaining highly available for multiple trading partners. Additionally, the agency requires configuration flexibility for evolving regulations, along with dashboards and reports to monitor regulatory compliance, exchange volume, and system performance. Eligible vendors must perform all work offsite and within the United States. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget for this project.
