Data Analytics Services

The government authority located in British Columbia is seeking data analytics services to support and expand its data visualization and analytics platform, primarily leveraging Spotfire. The agency needs to improve data-driven decision-making across its municipal operations. The existing platform infrastructure includes a security and routing tier with Spotfire Servers on Linux front-ended by ForgeRock Single-Sign-on integration via OAuth 2.0. The worker service tier consists of Spotfire Web Players, Node Managers, and Automation Services on Windows, alongside Data Visualization servers on Linux. The data tier utilizes Microsoft Active Directory, with Spotfire and TDV repository databases residing on Oracle 19c Enterprise RAC, configured with multiple data sources and information links to Oracle and SQL Server back-end databases. The agency requires the development of a long-term data analytics strategy, incorporating approaches to ensure futureproofing, scalability, and sustainability. The scope of work also includes the integration of emerging technologies, specifically artificial intelligence and predictive analytics or modelling. Additionally, the agency is requesting end-user training and knowledge transfer. All optional services must be clearly identified and priced separately from the base proposal. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States only. The performance of the work will take place offsite. Bidders must register on the issuing authority website in order to download the unwatermarked request for proposals. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
