RFI for Radio Access Network System

The City of Gaithersburg, Maryland, is seeking a complete, functional end-to-end Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) 5G system. The agency requires this new system to integrate seamlessly with its existing 3GPP-compliant 5G core. The requested system must consist of an Open Radio Unit, an Open Distributed Unit, an Open Centralized Unit, and the supporting hardware platforms. Only organizations based onshore in the United States are eligible to participate in this opportunity. The selected vendor must perform all work offsite at their own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a specific funding limit.
