Community Network Maintenance Services

The City of Kamloops, British Columbia, is seeking a qualified Canadian organization to provide comprehensive community network maintenance services. The agency requires a partner to manage general services, including coordination with staff, stakeholders, and third parties, as well as incident response, fault isolation, and restoration. The selected provider will also handle testing, certification, documentation, and regular reporting and service management meetings. The scope of work covers emergency repair of damaged fibre-optic cable, fusion splicing, approved temporary mechanical splicing, and the replacement of damaged components. The agency requires testing and the submission of all test results, followed by permanent restoration after any temporary repairs are completed. Additionally, the project includes fibre-optic installation, which encompasses outside plant underground or aerial construction, inside plant building entry, riser and termination work, fibre termination, testing, certification, network extensions, and ring creation. Eligible bidders must be Canadian organizations, and all contracted work must be performed onsite in Kamloops. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept digital submissions via email or through their online portal.
