Security Video Equipment Maintenance and Repair Service

The California Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide security video equipment maintenance and repair services for its facility in Alhambra, California. The agency needs to ensure the continuous operation, reliability, and prompt restoration of its security surveillance infrastructure. This project addresses the ongoing need for professional upkeep, troubleshooting, and replacement of critical security hardware and associated network components. The scope of work covers the provision of all labor, tools, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to maintain, repair, or replace security cameras and related systems. The equipment requiring service includes video cameras, encoders, decoders, analytic devices, motion detectors, radars, network switches, routers, access control devices, remote access devices, power supplies, backup batteries, panels, cabinets, displays, servers, workstations, storage units, radios, antennas, hardware, and cabling. Service locations feature easy access areas indoors or readily accessible outdoor spots, as well as medium access areas that may require traffic control or limited nighttime hours. The agency will provide any necessary traffic control and lane closures for these medium access locations. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The selected contractor must perform all physical maintenance and repair work onsite at the Alhambra location. Additionally, the contractor must provide a response and action plan within twenty-four hours of the agency reporting any trouble or equipment breakdown, whether the notification occurs by phone, email, or in person. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure for these services. The resulting contract will run for a period of one year.
