Recyclable Materials Processing Facility Services

The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders in Toms River, New Jersey, is seeking a vendor to provide recyclable materials processing facility services. The agency is trying to encourage residents to recycle by accepting a wide variety of materials while processing these recyclables for greater marketability and higher revenues. Through this initiative, the agency aims to reduce municipal administration costs, lower landfill disposal costs, and decrease transportation costs by allowing municipalities to haul recyclables directly to regional recycling centers. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to perform all recyclable materials processing services offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. The agency has scheduled a pre-bid meeting for June 23, 2026.
