Parkside Stormwater Management Improvements Services

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin is seeking professional services to implement Phase 2 of its campus stormwater conveyance project. The Ranger Hall parking lot sits in a low-lying area where stormwater runoff collects from the southern hillside and the Ranger Hall rooftop, flowing across and beneath the pavement. This poorly planned drainage system accelerates pavement deterioration and creates ongoing maintenance challenges for the campus. The project covers the installation of green infrastructure elements in and around the Ranger Hall parking lot to slow, capture, infiltrate, and treat stormwater runoff. The requested scope of work includes constructing vegetated swales, bioretention areas, underdrains, stormwater trees, and native plantings to reduce the volume and velocity of water impacting the site. The agency requires the performance of this work to be conducted offsite, and the resulting contract will span a two-year period. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project and will accept digital submissions via email or an online portal. The agency has scheduled an on-site visit for July 15, 2026, and requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than July 17, 2026.
