Tax-Exempt Lease Service

The Muskegon County government authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide a tax-exempt lease service to support a facility upgrade. The agency needs to solve heating and cooling system inefficiencies by installing new equipment and integrating it with their Metasys control systems. The scope of work requires the provider to deliver all hoisting, rigging, piping, and insulation necessary for a chiller installation. The selected provider must also supply and install two new base-mounted chilled water system pumps and three new two-way bypass valves in the hot water system. Additionally, the project covers rebalancing the heating hot water system and implementing hot water bypass controls, a Metasys supervisory server, and a Metasys network architecture. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. While the physical installation work will occur at the authority's facility in Muskegon, Michigan, the administrative and financial performance of the lease service will be managed offsite. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is seeking pricing proposals from interested bidders to evaluate the financial feasibility of the lease.
