Event Parking Services

The Dinwiddie County Water Authority in Virginia is seeking a qualified vendor to manage, direct, and control vehicular parking operations during scheduled events. The agency requires a partner to collaborate with the event manager to clarify the parking management plan, focusing on traffic flow and pedestrian safety. The primary goal is to manage event traffic in an organized and efficient manner to minimize congestion and ensure the safe, timely ingress and egress of all vehicles. The scope of work requires the provider to supply a sufficient number of trained parking attendants and supervisors to effectively manage all designated parking areas. Staff must arrive at the event at least fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start time and wear uniforms that clearly identify them as parking personnel. The agency requires all personnel to be trained in customer service, traffic control, emergency procedures, and Americans with Disabilities Act compliance. Eligibility is restricted to United States organizations, and the performance of the work will take place offsite in Dinwiddie, Virginia. The contract period will run for one year. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not provided a pre-set funding limit.
