Mars Telecommunications Network Service

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, located in Greenbelt, Maryland, is seeking a vendor to provide a Mars telecommunications network service. The agency requires this network to support a Mars sample return mission as well as future Mars surface, orbital, and human exploration missions. The selected provider must deliver the design, development, integration, launch, and continuous on-orbit communications for this network. The agency requires the network service to support autonomous operations, onboard processing, and extended mission duration capabilities. Performance of the contracted work will take place offsite from the government facility. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based exclusively in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and financial structure of the project.
