Digital Forensic Analyst Services

The Ottawa County government authority in Michigan is seeking advanced digital forensic analysis and investigative services to support criminal investigations, including cybercrime and technology-facilitated offenses. The agency needs to solve the challenge of extracting and validating digital evidence from computers, mobile devices, cloud-based accounts, vehicles, and other digital media. The selected vendor will deliver expert-level forensic examination, technical consultation, investigative support, and courtroom testimony in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and evidentiary requirements. The scope of work requires the forensic acquisition, preservation, examination, and analysis of digital evidence. The agency expects the provider to perform advanced data recovery, decryption, password recovery, and artifact analysis. Additionally, the work includes validating forensic findings using industry-standard methodologies, conducting validation and vulnerability testing of forensic tools, and assisting in identifying investigative leads. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget.
