Janitorial Services

The Town of Holden Beach, North Carolina, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its government facility. The agency requires a contractor to resolve the need for regular, professional facility maintenance by performing cleaning services during business hours on a mutually agreed upon day. The selected provider must furnish all labor, equipment, cleaning supplies, supervision, and transportation necessary to deliver complete janitorial services using modern methods and commercial-grade cleaners designed to kill germs and viruses. The scope of work covers the sanitation of common areas, restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and solid waste disposal. For common areas, the agency requires the sanitation of door handles, door edges, light switches, tabletops, countertops, and copiers in lobbies, meeting rooms, copy areas, and hallways. Restroom maintenance includes cleaning and sanitizing fixtures such as toilet bowls, urinals, basins, and sinks, as well as refilling hand soap, towels, and toilet tissue. In break rooms and kitchens, the service requires sanitizing tabletops, countertops, chairs, sinks, microwave interiors and exteriors, and refrigerator handles. Waste management tasks involve emptying recycling and trash containers, carrying waste to outside carts, sanitizing the containers, and replacing liners. The agency limits eligibility to onshore United States organizations only. All work must be performed onsite at the Holden Beach location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget, and the scheduled services will commence during the first week of July 2026.
