Website Redesign and Hosting Service Using CMS

The Village is seeking a vendor to provide a website redesign and hosting service utilizing a flexible, easy-to-learn Content Management System. The agency needs to solve the problem of community engagement by providing timely, accurate, and accessible information to residents, businesses, visitors, and other users. The goal is to create an updated, intuitively organized, searchable, and robust municipal website that reflects the unique personality of the agency and feels clean and welcoming. The scope of work covers creating a responsive design usable on all devices, including phones, tablets, and personal computers. The new website must feature an interactive, easy-to-update calendar system for local events, meetings, and activities, alongside a robust, predictive, and intelligent on-site search that accommodates typos and misspellings. Additionally, the platform must integrate with social media tools and existing third-party service providers, including payment software, Municode for code services, and Esri/ArcGIS for mapping. Eligibility is restricted to onshore vendors located within the United States, and the performance of all work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract period will run for one year.
