Community Based Forestry Service

The City of Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide citywide community-based forestry services. The agency is trying to support its urban forest goals through best management practices, community stewardship, environmental education, and coordination with city staff, community stakeholders, and residents. The scope of work covers planting and maintaining approximately 6,000 trees, pruning 5,000 young trees, and coordinating volunteer invasive plant removal projects. The selected partner must also deliver community education and workforce development programming, which includes tree walks, pruning classes, volunteer certification courses, speaker events, school outreach, and youth employment opportunities. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be offsite.
