Institutional Advancement Consultant Services

The government authority in Bedford, Massachusetts is seeking an institutional advancement consultant to provide comprehensive fundraising, marketing, and leadership services. The selected partner will oversee communications and marketing efforts, including social media and publications, to promote the school and support fundraising goals. The scope of work also requires identifying, writing, and managing local, state, federal, and private foundation grants while ensuring strict compliance and timely reporting. The agency requires the consultant to build strategic relationships with local businesses, civic groups, and nonprofits to secure sponsorships, mentorships, and in-kind resources. The chosen provider will plan and execute annual appeals, community-centric fundraising events, and major gift initiatives, including capital campaigns and multi-year, phased projects. Administrative duties include managing the advancement database, processing gifts, maintaining donor records, and analyzing fundraising performance. The consultant will serve on the senior management team, collaborate with staff on committees, report directly to the Head of School/Executive Director, and manage grant-funded projects to ensure compliance with timelines. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all work to be performed offsite at the vendor's own office location.
