Website Redesign Service Using CMS

The agency is seeking a website design and hosting firm to partner in redesigning its municipal website using a user-friendly content management system. The project aims to improve the resident experience by establishing a new site architecture, design, navigation, and organization based on resident needs and municipal website best practices. The selected partner must deliver a mobile-friendly, responsive design and provide ongoing hosting, maintenance, and support for the platform. The scope of work requires a content management system that supports Single Sign-On using industry-standard authentication protocols such as SAML or OAuth. The platform must feature a rich text editor with style guide controls, an optional HTML editor, and capabilities to create and manage news posts for the homepage and department pages. Additionally, the website must integrate mobile-responsive calendars with multiple categories and iCal export, as well as embedded social media feeds from Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. To ensure security and performance, the agency requires encrypted forms, comprehensive security against cyber-attacks, and performance optimization methods like caching or content delivery technologies. The hosting environment must include monitoring and reporting tools to track website availability, quality assurance, broken links, ADA compliance, average response times, and downtime. The agency is also requesting ongoing maintenance and updates to the content management system and its security components. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the work may be conducted either onsite or offsite.
