Website Network Administrator, Including Training and Technical Support Services Using WordPress CMS

The Irish Heritage Council is seeking a website network administrator to support key elements of its community archival project. The agency requires a designated liaison to communicate and follow up on performance issues with the incumbent website supplier across the network. Under the direction of the Development Officer, the administrator will provide training to community volunteers in the WordPress content management system and the digitization of cultural heritage material to industry standards. The scope of work covers facilitating online Digital Champions sessions and leading the technical support service. The selected vendor must support volunteer groups in developing and maintaining their WordPress community archive websites. The agency requires training for existing and new groups to improve their knowledge of the custom-built content management system, equipping them with the skills to manage their websites on an ongoing basis. Only organizations based onshore in Ireland are eligible to bid for this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of all work to take place offsite.
