IP-Based Intercom, Clock and Mass Communication System

The issuing agency is seeking a modern, network-based communication solution to enhance school safety, emergency notification capabilities, synchronized timekeeping, and day-to-day communications. The project covers the furnishing, configuration, programming, testing, and commissioning of an IP-based intercom, clock, paging, and emergency communication system. The solution must be fully IP-based, network-addressable, commercially available, currently supported, and suitable for K-12 educational environments. The scope of work includes system design and engineering, equipment procurement, software licensing, programming, functional testing, user training, documentation, and warranty support. The agency requires an administrative console, emergency communications capabilities, and centralized management from an administrative workstation. The software must support a centralized communication server, mapping and graphical interfaces, device monitoring, system diagnostics, event logging, and user administration. The system must integrate with standard TCP/IP networking over an Ethernet network and allow for future integration with school safety systems and expansion to additional devices and buildings. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid, and the performance of the work will be offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract period will be for one year.
