Data Warehouse Modernization Initiative platform

The agency is seeking technology consulting services to evaluate, compare, and implement a modern, enterprise-ready data warehouse platform. This initiative aims to replace existing siloed reporting solutions for ridership and establish a scalable, cost-effective, and future-ready data platform. The selected platform must improve analytical efficiency, data consistency, governance, and enterprise-wide decision-making while providing a repeatable foundation for future expansion. The scope of work requires a comprehensive, data-driven evaluation of candidate platforms by conducting stakeholder discovery, establishing measurable selection criteria, and assessing end-to-end platform capabilities. The chosen provider must design, configure, and provision the data warehouse platform, including development, QA, and production environments, data integration and transformation tools, networking, security controls, observability, and governance components. Additionally, the project covers designing and implementing data pipelines, data models, data marts, dashboards, and reporting solutions leveraging Power BI. The requested analytical solutions must support maintenance operations, asset management, inventory utilization, parts consumption, lifecycle tracking, operational cost analysis, financial and service performance metrics, workforce utilization, transit operations analytics, and customer experience insights. To ensure operational readiness, the project includes executing user acceptance testing to validate functionality and data quality. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through an online portal, and the agency is looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget.
