Public Address System Replacement Solution

The Camden City School District in Camden, New Jersey is seeking a vendor to replace the existing, outdated, and malfunctioning public address and intercom systems at Veterans School and another district school. The agency requires a modern, reliable, IP-based communication solution to improve paging, intercom, emergency notification, and system integration capabilities. This preferred IP-based system must support unlimited station capacity for intercom calls between staff locations and classrooms, user-customizable announcements with priority, and text-to-speech announcements. The requested scope of work covers audio distribution scheduled or manually activated from the administration web user interface, contact closures, administration phones, or routines. The system must feature an integrated internet radio source, clock and messaging display capabilities, and unlimited time, paging, and audio zones. The selected vendor must coordinate with district IT for network integration to ensure the system can send email notifications and alerts triggered by system events, contact closures, or activated routines. The agency requires the system to be capable of recording and activating announcements via administrative console speed dials, DTMF, wireless panic buttons, mobile applications, web browsers, or external IP networked systems using HTTPS URL-based Application Programming Interfaces. Authorized users must be able to perform multi-facility emergency all-call paging and multi-site all-call paging across the district. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and the performance of the work will be offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to establish a contract period of one year. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 12, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions no later than June 15, 2026.
