Communications Systems Consulting Services

The City of Calgary is seeking a Canadian organization to provide communications systems consulting services on an as-needed basis. The agency needs to supplement its internal design, operations, and maintenance forces with timely and efficient consultant assistance. The selected partner will support modifications and upgrades of existing transit communications systems and provide on-site technical support for system maintenance and repair. The scope of work covers system assurance and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety engineering. The agency requires the consultant to analyze existing system performance data and Key Performance Indicators to identify operational weaknesses. Based on this analysis, the consultant will provide technical recommendations to support internal project evaluation and decision-making. Eligible bidders must be onshore Canadian organizations. The agency expects the consultant to perform the work offsite, with the contract period lasting for three years.
