RFI for Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems

The United States Air Force at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois is seeking information on wireless intrusion detection systems to secure its facility. The agency needs to continuously monitor the Radio Frequency spectrum to scan, detect, geolocate, and alert security personnel of unauthorized wireless emissions and portable electronic devices. This solution must extend the physical security perimeter into the wireless domain to prevent unauthorized data transmission, bridging, or eavesdropping within high-security areas. The requested scope of work covers twenty-four-seven monitoring of the facility with real-time situational awareness of the radio frequency environment. The system must support custom geofenced zones, device whitelisting, and immediate identification of the specific room or zone containing a transmitting device. The technology must also individually distinguish a single device transmitting a radio frequency signal from surrounding devices. Eligible respondents must be onshore United States organizations. The agency permits the performance of the work to occur offsite. Respondents must submit their proposals and information digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposal pricing to establish budget parameters. All questions regarding this request for information must be submitted no later than June 12, 2026.
