The United States Transportation Command, located at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, requires manual automotive cleaning facility and repair services. The agency needs a contractor to provide all tools, parts, equipment, materials, transportation, personnel, labor, supervision, and management necessary to perform preventative maintenance and repair services. The required materials include detergents and operating supplies to keep the cleaning facility fully functional. The scope of work covers weekly and monthly maintenance tasks performed onsite. Weekly tasks require checking pits and tanks for water level and softener, checking all electrical components including vehicle sensors and control boxes, and inspecting all air compressors. Monthly tasks require checking and cleaning chemical injectors, water jets, and sensors, as well as replenishing chemicals when necessary. The monthly scope also includes performing function checks on the camera and vacuum systems. Eligible bidders must be onshore entities located in the United States. The contract period will run for one year, and the performance of all work must take place onsite at the Scott, Illinois facility. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not signaled a specific funding limit.
