Custodial Maintenance Services

The City of El Mirage, Arizona is seeking a qualified contractor to provide custodial maintenance services for its government facilities. The agency requires these services to maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional environment across its designated buildings. The selected provider will receive all necessary security codes, building entry keys, and key card access required to perform the work. The scope of work requires the performance of custodial services Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The agency requires the contractor to provide qualified on-site supervision for each work shift to ensure satisfactory and competent performance. The contractor must supply all cleaning chemicals and equipment necessary to meet the agency's cleaning standards, including certified Hepa or better filtered vacuums. Daily and weekly tasks include polishing and vacuuming all furniture, wooden counters, and tabletops on a weekly basis, as well as vacuuming all carpets. Workers must remove all trash and recycling to pre-designated areas, and they must empty, spot clean, and replace liners in waste receptacles as needed. Restroom sanitation requires cleaning all surfaces of basins, bowls, toilet seats, and urinals with germicidal detergent, which includes wiping excess liquid off adjacent walls, fixtures, and partitions. Complete carpet cleaning represents an additional task that the contractor may only perform when specifically authorized by the agency. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States, and all work must be performed onsite at the El Mirage facilities.
