Custodial Services

The Town of Wallingford, Connecticut requires a custodial company to provide cleaning services for a local government authority building. The selected vendor must clean the facility two days per week and ensure the building is fully clean for the start of business each Monday. The scope of work covers all administrative wings, including both carpeted and non-carpeted areas, but excludes the lowest level bare concrete floor. The cleaning duties span multiple floors and specific zones within the facility. These areas include the second-floor classroom, the basement conference room, the clerical office including the elevator, and various carpeted runners. Additionally, the service provider must clean the chiefs' offices, the hallway, and the medic area located half a flight up. The agency is establishing a contract period of three years for these services. To be eligible for award, bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States, and all work must be performed onsite at the Wallingford facility. The agency is currently seeking budget proposals from interested parties and requires all questions to be submitted no later than June 10th, 2026.
