Ireland - Website Network Administrator, Including Training and Technical Support Services Using WordPress CMS

The Irish Heritage Council is seeking a website network administrator to provide training and technical support services using the WordPress content management system. This administrator will support key elements of the agency's community archival project and act as the designated liaison to the incumbent website supplier. The selected partner will communicate and follow up on any issues regarding website performance across the network. Under the direction of the Development Officer, the administrator will train community volunteers in the WordPress content management system and in the digitization of cultural heritage material to industry standards. The administrator will also facilitate online Digital Champions sessions and lead the technical support service. This support team will assist volunteer groups in developing and maintaining their WordPress community archive websites. The agency requires the administrator to provide training to existing and new groups to improve their knowledge of the custom-built content management system. This training must equip volunteers with the skills to effectively develop and manage their websites on an ongoing basis. Only onshore organizations based in Ireland are eligible to bid for this contract. The performance of all requested work will take place offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from bidders.
