Communication Systems Upgrades

The government authority in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide communication systems upgrades. The agency needs to install and upgrade five distinct communication systems, which include an Emergency Responder Radio Coverage Distributed Antenna System, a Cellular Phone Distributed Antenna System, a Lone Worker Monitoring and Alerting System, a Business Network Wi-Fi System, and a SCADA Network Wi-Fi System. This project addresses the need for comprehensive electrical and communication infrastructure to support the installation and expansion of these systems. The scope of work requires the installation of approximately 150 linear feet of new underground duct bank and over 10,000 linear feet of new communications and power conduit. The selected vendor must also install roughly 8,500 linear feet of fiber optic cable utilizing both new and existing raceways, alongside over 10,000 linear feet of communication and low-voltage power cable. The agency permits the performance of this work to be completed offsite. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget. The agency requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 12, 2026.
