Coimisiún na Meán in Ireland is seeking school-based research and ancillary services to examine primary school children's experiences of and perspectives regarding online engagement. This research will support the transposition of the revised Audiovisual Media Services Directive, which updates the regulatory framework for broadcasting and on-demand audiovisual media services, and establishes a new regulatory framework for online safety. The agency requires the development of an appropriate sampling approach, sample recruitment, and a data collection methodology within a primary school setting that achieves a representative sample. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Ireland. The agency expects the selected provider to possess a strong track record of engagement with teachers, school leaders, and relevant stakeholder bodies, alongside an established network of key contacts to deliver robust research in a primary school context. The performance of the contracted work will take place offsite. The agency has established a maximum budget of up to 215,000 EUR for this project.
