The Charter Township of Ypsilanti, Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its government authority facility. The agency requires a contractor to maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional environment through routine dusting, waste removal, and floor care. This procurement aims to address the daily wear and tear of the facility while ensuring all offices, restrooms, and common areas remain hygienic. The scope of work covers dusting all reachable furniture, windowsills, desks, chairs, file cabinets, partitions, and ledges, excluding desk tops with loose papers. The selected contractor must remove fingerprints, stains, and dust from counters and glass desktops, empty all wastebaskets, and wash the baskets as needed. Restroom maintenance requires thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all toilets, lavatory fixtures, and partitions, alongside wet mopping toilet floors with special attention to the stool areas. Floor care across the facility includes dust mopping all floor areas under desks and stairways using chemically treated dust mops, as well as vacuuming all carpeted areas to remove embedded materials and immediate stains. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The selected contractor must perform all work onsite at the Ypsilanti facility. The agency is awarding a contract with a performance period of one year. The agency will host a pre-bid meeting on June 16, 2026, to discuss the requirements. Bidders must submit any questions regarding the procurement no later than June 18, 2026.
