Custodial Maintenance Services

The City of El Mirage, Arizona is seeking a vendor to provide custodial maintenance services for its government authority facilities. The agency requires these services to be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. To facilitate this work, the agency will provide all necessary security codes, building entry keys, and key card access. The scope of work requires weekly polishing and vacuuming of all furniture, wooden counters, and tabletops. Daily tasks include removing all trash and recycling to pre-designated areas, vacuuming all carpets using a certified Hepa or better filtered vacuum, and emptying, spot cleaning, and replacing liners in waste receptacles as needed. The selected vendor must also clean all surfaces of basins, bowls, toilet seats, and urinals with germicidal detergent, ensuring excess liquid is wiped off adjacent walls, fixtures, and partitions. Complete carpet cleaning is also within the scope but must only be performed when specifically authorized by the agency. The agency requires the vendor to provide qualified on-site supervision for each work shift to ensure satisfactory and competent performance. The vendor must also provide all cleaning chemicals and equipment necessary to meet the required cleaning standards. The contract period will span three years, and the performance of all work must take place onsite. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States.
