The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a vendor to provide professional services for the View Drive Natural Resources Conservation Services buyout project in Juneau, Alaska. The agency needs to address the environmental and structural hazards on the acquired properties to safely return the land to its natural state. This project aims to mitigate future risks by clearing the designated properties of all human-made structures and potential contaminants. The scope of work requires demolishing all structures on each property, which includes the proper removal or backfill of foundations, basements, and substructures. The selected contractor must conduct hazardous material assessments to ensure appropriate abatement and disposal of any dangerous substances. Additionally, the project covers the removal and closure of all above-ground or underground fuel tanks, followed by the restoration of each property to a defined natural state. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to take place either onsite in Juneau or offsite, depending on the specific task requirements. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. Interested parties must attend a pre-proposal meeting scheduled for June 9, 2026.
