Employment and Income Verification Services

The District of Columbia Housing Authority is seeking a contractor to provide reliable, accurate, and timely employment and income verification services. The agency needs these services to determine initial eligibility, continued program participation, rent calculations, interim re-examinations, and compliance with applicable regulations. The project covers a five-year contract period. The scope of work requires the verification of current and historical employment, wages, salary information, self-employment income when available, unemployment benefits, and other employment-related income sources. The contractor must utilize legally authorized and industry-accepted methods and databases to obtain and report this information. At a minimum, the agency requires reports to include current and previous employer names and addresses, dates of employment, employment status, job titles, and rates of pay. To facilitate these activities, the agency will provide the contractor with participant and applicant names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, addresses, and available employer information. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The contractor will perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget. The agency requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 16, 2026.
