Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Impact Service

The Health Resources and Services Administration is seeking a vendor to provide the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Impact service to drive measurable improvements in access to integrated, coordinated, and sustainable services for substance use disorder and opioid use disorder in rural areas. The agency aims to reduce risk factors for substance use disorder-related morbidity and mortality while enabling sustained recovery and well-being. The project requires the establishment or expansion of evidence-based prevention, treatment, and recovery services in rural areas. The scope of work covers coordination across health and supportive social services to enable sustained, long-term recovery. The selected vendor must develop a larger, more responsive substance use disorder workforce, which includes both clinical providers with various scopes of practice and peers. Additionally, the project requires building multi-sector community networks to strengthen and sustain local service delivery.
