Propane Furnace and Air Conditioning Installation Service

The Maryland Transit Administration is seeking a contractor to provide propane furnace and air conditioning installation services at a facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The agency needs to replace its current climate control equipment to ensure reliable heating and cooling while minimizing disruption to ongoing facility operations. The selected contractor must install three new Bard Model # W36G3-AXB forced air furnaces with cooling units, or approved equivalents, and tie them directly into the existing ductwork. The scope of work requires the contractor to supply and install all necessary lines, fittings, and wires to establish proper connections. The contractor must utilize the existing thermostats, install one new line wire for the furthest thermostat unit, and connect all condensate lines. Additionally, the contractor must provide and install barricades and signs to ensure public safety, maintain a safe and orderly work site, and handle the coordination, off-loading, and storage of all materials until the final inspection. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States, and all contracted work must be performed onsite at the Baltimore location. The agency is requesting budget proposals from bidders to establish the cost for these services. The contract period will span one year from the date of award.
