Childcare Services

The Arlington, VA government authority is seeking a licensed vendor to provide childcare services on an as-needed basis for events occurring after standard business hours. The agency requires the vendor to operate under a valid childcare license and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. The selected provider must supply up to four qualified childcare staff members per event who meet all state licensing requirements and can safely supervise mixed age groups ranging from ages zero to eighteen. The scope of work requires the vendor to arrive onsite at the scheduled time and remain for the full duration of the agency program, providing continuous supervision and care from arrival to departure. Staff must establish and manage a parent or guardian sign-in and sign-out process to ensure safety. Additionally, the personnel must plan and facilitate age-appropriate, developmentally appropriate activities, and review childcare rules with the children in an age-appropriate manner. The agency requires seven calendar days of advance notice for each as-needed childcare request. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations, and the performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services.
