Site Closure Investigation Services

The Port of Tacoma, Washington is seeking a vendor to provide site closure investigation services. The agency requires an investigation work plan that organizes the project into three distinct stages to improve efficiency, align with contractor availability, and allow the port to move forward quickly. The scope of work involves drilling borings, collecting soil and groundwater samples, and confirming the removal of a former wax tank. The project also covers additional porewater sampling, the redevelopment and sampling of existing wells, the installation of new monitoring wells, and the collection of subsequent soil and groundwater samples. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place offsite. The contract period will span three years, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. Bidders must submit any questions regarding the solicitation no later than June 9, 2026.
