Laboratory Microscopes Services

The Texas Department of State Health Services, located in Austin, Texas, is seeking an annual maintenance agreement for sixty-five microscopes located throughout its laboratory. The agency requires a vendor to perform services in accordance with manufacturer-required maintenance services and inspection schedules, which must include cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and minor repairs. To ensure proper documentation, the vendor must supply the laboratory with a completed, detailed report within seventy-two hours of work completion. This report must include, at a minimum, the dates of service, the first and last name of the technician, the equipment serviced, the diagnosis, and the type of service performed. It must also detail the resolution, the cost of parts and materials, an estimate of repair time, and the labor and parts warranty. While the agency is located in Austin, the performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 11, 2026.
